Here, you will get the best of everything. Our B&B offers virtually all the amenities of an upscale hotel, but in a cosy, intimate setting. Each of our rooms is newly decorated with comfort in mind. "Sink" into a lush, box-spring mattress and let your cares float away.
The beds are so comfortable, that guests often say that they wish they had gone to bed earlier!
We are situated at little over 5 minutes from the city centre and close to Aintree Race Course and the stadiums of both Premier League clubs Liverpool "Anfield" and Everton "Goodison Park". We are also far enough away to guarantee a good, quiet night's sleep.
A variety of room sizes and features are available including family rooms. Our double rooms have two double beds in them, which really makes them twin doubles. We always assign a maximum of two guests to a double room unless we are requested to do otherwise.
Although we do not have rooms en-suite, there are plenty of shower facilities available.
We have high-speed, wireless internet access which is available to all guests for free.
For your convenience we offer 24-hour access to the premises.
The rate of £35 per person per night includes a hearty homemade (English) breakfast and an evening beverage. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements before your arrival. We now no longer offer evening meals.

We had a fantastic stay at Rita's, a very friendly welcome awaited us.
We were expecting one room with 2 double beds in, but when we arrived we
were pleasantly surprised to find that Rita had 2 rooms ready for us,
one for my husband and I and one with bunk beds for our 2 sons. The
rooms were lovely with comfy beds, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cup a
soups and plenty of biscuits. More biscuits, crisps and bottles of water
were available in the downstairs hall. The bathrooms were clean and
well stocked. We had a lovely full English breakfast at a time that was
good for us and Rita made sure we had everything we needed, she gave
some drawing paper to our sons and in the evening provided a tray of tea
for my husband and some lager for myself, we felt comfortable enough
with Rita to spend the evening in the lounge chatting with her. We were
really made to feel at home there, with the boys calling her Auntie
Rita. We met Drew the next day and he is just as lovely as Rita. All in
all, an amazing stay and we are looking forward to returning (without
the boys) in the summer.

I stayed at Rita's with my son, a night before a Liverpool match at
Anfield.Rita was super helpful and kind. The room was clean and spacious
+ tea, cookies and snacks . Super comfortable beds. Very good
breakfast. No en-suites room (that's why the place is very good and not
excellent) but there are plenty shower/toilet rooms - very clean as
well. No need to use your car. Free parking on the street - and nearby
bus station will get you to the docks and the shopping centre in 10
minutes. Anfield is indeed only 10 minutes by foot. Next time we are in
Liverpool - Rita's will definitely be our first choice.

Nous avons passé plusieurs jours chez Rita en août 2009, et véritablement ce fut comme à la maison, entre l'accueil très affectueux, les petits déjeuners plantureux (avec deux adolescents de 16 et 18 ans...), l'attention et la délicatesse de Rita au plaisir de chacun comme à faire apprécier au mieux cette bonne ville de Liverpool tout droit sortie d'un film de Terence Davies. Sans prétention mais avec un confort chaleureux et, ce qui se fait rare, un prix défiant toute concurrence, à dix minutes de l'hyper centre ville, nous recommandons très chaudement l'établissement de notre très chère Rita.

Eind augustus gingen we in Liverpool naar de Beatlesweek en vonden een gezellige bed and breakfast, vlak bij het mooie Newshampark. Met een goedkope buskaart en prima snelle verbindingen zaten we in goed 5 minuten in het centrum van de stad en konden verder heel Liverpool gemakkelijk bereiken. Het bed was goed en de ontbijtjes van Rita waren overheerlijk!! Door het persoonlijk contact en de gesprekjes met medebewoners –zowel Engelsen als Nederlanders- hebben we echt genoten van het verblijf bij “lovely Rita”.

comfortable, kindness... wonderful!
We have stayed this weekend and our stay in Rita's B&B has been fantastic.
Typical english huge breakfast and very comfortable beds!! Rita's kindness and hospitality has made this two days very pleasant. The location is good, it's a very handy way to the city center (5 minutes by bus) and near to Anfield Road Stadium (15 minutes by walking). I'd absolutely recommend this B&B! david&Anna
Hola, estuvimos este fin de semana en el B&B de Rita y la verdad es que fue fantástico. Un desayuno típico inglés (huevos, beans, bacon, etc) y unas camas realmente cómodas! La tremenda amabilidad y hospitalidad de Rita ha hecho nuestra estancia allí muy agradable. La situación del B&B es buena, a 5 minutos en bus del centro ya 15 minutos de Anfiel andando. Absolutamente recomendable! david & Anna

Anyone making / confirming a reservations agrees to the following
Important Note:
22/05/2009 In view of unfortunate, recent events regarding so called 'no-shows' and 'walk-out'/non-payment issues we will be implementing the following changes -
1. Any booking must be reconfirmed five days before the booking date in order to guarantee your room(s) unless paid in advance.
2. Payment will be requested upon arrival in full.
3. Payment through PayPal is required for deposits for any bookings of more than two (2) days and a booking fee of GBP5.00 applies. For larger bookings i.e. multiple rooms for a number of nights a higher booking fee may apply.
4. The deposit will be for one third of the total booking value of bookings for more than two (2) days, normally payable within five (5) working days, unless this means that payment will not be received within four (4) days of date of arrival, then it should be received sooner.
5. Upon booking please provide us with your full name(s), address a land-line phone number and preferably a mobile phone number.

We value your understanding and cooperation in dealing with these matters, many thanks and enjoy our stay!
Cancellations:
Should you for any reason be unable to make your stay with us, we would require a minimum notice period of 96 hours and then any deposit minus the booking fee will be refunded in full.
Any cancellations within 96 hours of your original booking will, without exception, incur a charge of no less than half the booking value. No-shows will incur a charge equal to the booking value.
